Sarah and Andrew: Wedding

Venue: Ace hotel Palm springs
Florist: Rancho Mirage florist
Dress designer: Alina Pizzano
Hair and Makeup: Monique Montano and the girls from Bravo Salon
Wedding coordinator: Laurie Lund from The Events Department

Ever since I did their e session, I have been waiting for this wedding… not only are Sarah and Andrew an amazingly stylish couple, {so I knew it would be beautiful} but also because they are also over the moon in love… {which makes a wedding, hands down.} …and just like a lime slice makes the margarita, their location made they’re wedding all the more delicious…

Sarah and Andrew’s wedding day couldn’t of been any more perfect then it was. Sitting on the bed of her hotel room in Palm Springs, Sarah was a vision, and quite possibly the calmest bride I’ve ever met. Even as she busted around the busy tent like room checking her bridesmaids, she had a grace about her. A certainty. And as she did her mom’s makeup she was laughing and having a grand old time. Relishing the moment…

And then, while the girls were joking and sipping on champagne, a knock on the door interrupted the friendly banter and when they answered it , a brilliant bouquet of flowers was waiting for the lovely bride…. and inside was a note from her groom “Today I marry my dream girl and I don’t have a care in the world..”

…if Sarah wasn’t the happiest bride ever before that, she definitely was after. Her eyes smiled , her laugh was longer, and her lips parted into the prettiest smile ever to grace them. She was marrying her love, and he was just as excited to be marrying her.

As the sun sank behind the mountain, golden light enveloped the ceremony site, bathing everyone watching their union in it’s beauty… and the tall old palms watched from afar, happy to be apart of such a day…and a witness to such a love.

…when it was over, the newlyweds hugged each other for a second longer then usual. After all, they belonged to each other now… She would take his name, and they would grow old together. Never swaying from the side of their other half..

…and as the evening melted into the wee hours of the morning the DJ spun amazing tunes from the golden era…

and the friends danced into the night…

Sarah and Andrew,

Thank you so much for letting me be apart of your love story. I loved every second of it.

Ioana - oh my world.
the photographs are oh so amazing. I am jealous of those who get to be photographed by you. They are lucky.
But the thing that I love the most about this blog of yours is that you are so good with words. Your writing is lovely and they make the perfect scene for the photographs that make my day, every single time you post.
