Sneak peek: Rachel and Steven
February 21, 2010 – 12:46 pm
It looked like rain, but it never did rain. And so with the dark grey, stormy skies above, we waded through tall green fields of clover to get there.
…it was the perfect spot for a magical picture. A cluster of old buildings, old and worn, but still beautiful because of what they have witnessed in their lives.
… in the quite on the afternoon Steve and Rachel whispered sweet nothings to each other, they held hand, they laughed..
Falling a bit more in love with each glance. Dreaming of the future…
Thanks to Scott for finding this amazing locations and letting me play with my new favorite lens!
Happy Sunday world!

..dancing with fireflies..
February 16, 2010 – 1:10 pm
I love all things poetic. Okay adore might be a better word. When lyrics fit so perfectly and you’re left thinking how they even came up with them.. when the melody makes you swoon and you find yourself doing a little dance without thinking where you are..
….when I realize I’m smiling every time the song starts, and I don’t notice when it’s on repeat….
…a song that makes you drift off into another world, yes that my darlings, that is an amazing thing. and what I call perfection.
That’s why I’m obsessed with this album.. it’s just so perfectly written. Digging this today..
{and dreaming of road tripping with my honey…}
but especially in love with this song… Fireflies and of course Vanilla twilight {I mean even the name is romantic!}
… “as many times as I blink I’ll think of you tonight.” Swoon.
Listen to my new love. Owl city. and you will fall in love…
For the love of Holga..
February 15, 2010 – 4:08 pm
Husband man got me a Holga for Christmas. And even though I thought he was the best husband ever before he bought me my little yellow beauty, I must admit, I do love him a tad more now.
…a few Sundays back we decided to play with my new found friend, and so, we wandered open country roads in the middle of the afternoon, searching for something brilliant to waste our film on. The sun was golden, the air was crisp, and although they may not be the most original photographs ever, {and most of them didn’t come out} we had fun together. And that was the point of it all anyhow..
….
I love. Holga.
I love my husband.
and I rather like my house.
