Danielle and Erik’s wedding was as near to perfect as weddings can be.
They said their vows of old on a bluff surrounded by a veil of misty light goodness that Santa Barbara is loved for. The flowered arches adorning the aisle were smiling and bobbing their happy heads and the view, was nothing short of amazing.
… but, as the ceremony started, the magic of Santa Barbara and it’s glorious golden light was nothing compared to the moment when Danielle started down the aisle and Erik caught his first glimpse of his bride. Overcome with emotion he cried. Unashamed. But most of all, he was thankful. So very very thankful.
…and so, surrounded by their friends and family on a bluff overlooking the sea, Danielle and Erik vowed to love each other forever. Better or worse. Rich or for poor.
…and as they said their vows, their words caught the wind, their love overwhelming those within distance of hearing their lifelong promise…
Their love was so real. So genuine. So pure.
..and when the night was near, and the sun was set, the soft tunes of Mana started, and Erik gently and lovingly led his bride onto the dance floor. And as they swayed to the music, they were surrounded by lit sparklers. And for a moment, if only a moment, it was like the world spun in slow motion. Friends swayed together, singing along to the gentle spanish tune and waving their sparklers at the night. Smiling. Laughing. Appreciating the magic of that moment. Feeling the love.

Thank you so much for allowing me and Ry to call you our friends. We love you so much and are overwhelmingly excited to see what your future holds together. May you grow old and grey together and never sway from the side of your other half.
