Even more so, I wonder what our destination will be(my guess is Disneyland) I did a similar list of 30 on my blog when I turned 30(ouch) in March. It WAS harder than I thought, but fun too!

Wishing you a safe and fabulous trip,
Lindsey

May 22, 2009 - 11:05 pm

sweetRed88 - I check out your blog every so often as I check out your mother’s blog. I enjoy looking at the pictures you take. They are truely amazing. In response to your past entry on May 20th here’s a little bit of stuff about me. I am a single mother of 3 children, two teenagers and one pre-teen, my oldest teenager will be driving on her own in about 3 weeks yikes!! I am a teacher and some of the things I love are … the smell after a rain shower, watching snow fall – especially when the flakes are huge, tulips and daisies, listening to music, hanging with friends, reading books, mint chocolate ice cream and butterfinger blizzards. Oh – I too drive with windows down and music blaring. Somethings I don’t like are tailgaters (who does?), cooking (my cooking is very simple and fast – poor kids huh?), and washing windows. I don’t have a blog but I do like reading them :)

Three years. {and counting…}

Today was the day, three years ago, that I promised to love and cherish my husband man forever. For better or worse. Rich or for poor. Sickness and in health. Until death… …it’s funny how back then, I honestly {one hundred and ten percent} couldn’t fathom how I could love him any more then I...

kelsey - aloha- i’m your hawaiian follower (stalker). i moved here a few months back- just because it’s the right thing to do when you’re 20, freshly graduated from college and single. i found your blog thru your mom’s- i have 3 younger siblings from china. ice cream is my favorite thing #1. the only smell better than fresh cut grass is the smell of corn- i grew up in a 150-year old farmhouse with 2500 acres of corn surrounding it. now i grow a small patch of sweet corn in front of my apartment :). favorite thing #2 is photography #3 is travel. so far i’ve only been to china (5x), someday i will make it to the rest of asia…

May 22, 2009 - 10:59 pm

Lindsey - Hi Abi…so I admit, I am blog stalker. I literally came across your blog through exactly that reason. Got hooked on your blog not too long ago with the Confessions entry regarding sleeping with a fan every night. Have the same habit and have now got my husband and twins two year olds addicted to sleeping with fans as well. It’s either a fan or the sound of rain, and we don’t get rain every night here in California as you know.

We are share the fact that we both found our Edward. Aren’t we lucky? You would enjoy a Twilight Party I threw back in the beginning of April(its all documented on my blog- http://www.petersentwins.blogspot.com) Twilight is not an obsession..it is a hobby :-)

I love your photographs, I enjoy your writing, and I look forward to seeing new posts of yours.

The only ice cream that exists to me is vanilla. Not french vanilla, not vanilla bean, just plain vanilla in all its glory.

Until New Moon in November…..
Lindsey

Corrie - I’m your cousin (in law). I am married to my love whom I really don’t deserve. I am very blessed to have been given him and I never saw it coming. I have two beautiful girls who I am trying to enjoy. I love cemetaries, crunchy dill pickles in my potato salad, cookies and cream ice cream, smoothies with lots of blueberries, apricots ripened by the sun, pools and rivers and lakes to swim in. I love tea and reading. I love a cool, quiet breeze. I love that I am now friends with my parents. I love that I have a best friend whom I can tell everything to and who knows me better than I know me. I love that my girls love to read. I love, love, love sleeping and can never get enough. And I love my extended family and wish that I could see them more. Great blog Abi and great work. My blog is miller4-corrie.blogspot.com

Katie Matthew - I am Katie Matthew. I am 18 years old. I am a student. I am in love with a man 2000 miles away. (we go to different colleges). I want to have it all. I love the color red and roses and vanilla and candles and mirrors and ice cream(blueberry please). I’m going to College Station in 4 weeks. My best friend lives in London. I love reading your blog:)

May 22, 2009 - 1:24 am

Danielle Crowther - Well, Abi, you’re just cool. That’s how I found you. You see, I’m a finder and collector of cool people. Especially those that quote Emily of New Moon. (I won’t ever get over that) I found you through Shyla’s blog. I’ve recently become ADDICTED to photography blogs. My little love makes fun of me because i can spend HOURS looking at photo blogs. It’s pathetic really, but oh so inspiring, and as he and I drive around, I look at beautiful things around me and imagine what I could do if I had (and knew how to use) a fancy camera.

Ice cream. *sigh* I love it!! ’nuff said.
Swings of all kinds make me so stinkin’ happy! tire swings, porch swings, park swings, hammocks — you name the swing, I love it.
One of my favorite things is snuggling up next to my love under a half dozen blankets, lying on the desert ground staring up at the stars.
I’m studying to be a librarian — grad school is SO great!
I’m getting married in July, closing on a house in June (hopefully), hosting a HUGE conference (for work) next week, and am terribly broke now. :)
Sometimes it’s just easier to express myself through writing.
As of late, I’ve been craving princess books. Have you ever read Goose Girl?? Love it! And, though not a princess book, I can never ever get enough of the Anne of Green Gables series.

This is certainly enough about me. I’m anxious to see more of all the “sneak peek”s you’ve been giving us. :)

Barclay - Hi! I actually found your blog through your momma! I was praying for her and your family through the fire nightmare-can’t remember how I heard about her. She mentioned you and linked to your blog, so I scooted on over to check you out and I absolutely fell in love with your photography. My hubby is a new photographer on the side (http://www.studiophotographie.com/) and I like to dabble with it and you are very inspiring! I am married to my soulmate and we have two gorgeous baby girls! : ) Come on over and check us out! : )

Lesley - Well, I’ll make the 3rd comment. I found you from Shyla’s blog and keep on coming back. I’m a fellow photographer (starting out), getting married in 30 days to more than the man of my dreams, and of course we’ve planned the best wedding ever! I don’t have beautiful babies (yet!) and I to love the smell of freshly cut grass mixed with spring rain! Oh, and nothing beats the sun shinning while you’re singing along to your blasted radio with the windows rolled down! :D

May 21, 2009 - 4:29 pm

Lori Calhoun - Whoohoo! I love your blog. Don’t remember how I came across it. So glad that I did. I am an amateur photographer, and I loooove your work. you have been to my site before, and left me a comment. Made my day. So, question for you. Have you ever or do you attend workshops? I’m on the hunt. But since I don’t make money at this yet (hope to some day) and they can be really pricy. I want to get my money’s worth. Have any suggestions?

Lori, AZ

May 21, 2009 - 2:19 pm

Shawn - I’ve commented before and can’t remember how I found your blog but I’m a big fan of your photos. I especially like mint chocolate chip ice cream but like to try other flavors now and then. I’m not a ‘photographer’ but love to take photos just for fun. I’ve found my soulmate but haven’t married him yet. No beautiful babies but adorable nieces and nephews and one super cute puggle named Pixel. LOVE the smell of fresh cut grass and windows rolled down, music blaring and usually singing unless I’m stopped at a light and feel like someone is staring. :)

May 21, 2009 - 11:31 am

Brittne Snyder - Hi there! I found your blog through your mom’s blog at http://www.aplacecalledsimplicity.com I adore her blog and have started reading yours as well! Lauren - Aspiring photographer! love your blog :)

May 21, 2009 - 7:27 am

Jillian - Hi there Abi :)
I found your blog through my friend Jaime, who reads your mom’s blog because they both have a heart for adoption. I was perusing your mom’s blog and she posted a blog about you and how proud she is of you with a link to your blog—let’s just say I have a heart for all things artistic, so I was immediately excited to have stumbled upon your blog. I will very quickly tell you a little about me: I married my best friend Owen last August (!) We were extremely surprised when we found out a few months later that we are expecting our first baby (!) Which is going to be a boy (I am due on July 28th which is my husband’s birthday.) I’m a young one, 20 years old and my husband is 21. I took a break from pursuing a degree in art when we got married, but I am always crafting/designing/sewing/etc. my older sister and I are working on a baby/children’s line right now. My husband is a touring musician, currently taking a break to have a full-time job to provide insurance for my pregnancy and the baby. Soon we will be going back out on the road, traveling and meeting new people—sharing why we have such a passion for life.

I love reading about your life and your sweet husband, keep up the blogging :)

I love real mail and although I don’t get much of that, I get all very enthusiastic when I do. I like to send letters. And emails and get then.
I like to read blogs. And see new ideas.

i’m not sure how i stumbled upon your blog — possibly your comment on mine, twitter, another photog blog….something like that :) as a result, your feed became part of my google reader…and here we are.

May 21, 2009 - 6:02 am

Christie - Hi!! I came to your blog from reading your mother’s blog. I enjoy looking at the photographs, I am a big fan of romance. I think you are an excellent photographer. I live in Texas. I am married and have two boys, one who in fact is 16 today, and another who is 11. I enjoy reading about others lives. I get up every morning and while I drink my coffee read my blogs and news on yahoo. I started a blog, but I don’t keep it up. Blogging isn’t my thing, even though I love reading them…lol.

May 21, 2009 - 5:55 am

Amber Martin - Hey Abi, My name is Amber and I am a photographer in Portland, ME. I love your work and how open you are on your blog. So I stalk your blog every morning while I drink my coffee. Here is the link to my blog. http://www.throughamberseyes.com/blog which I should update more often! :o)

May 21, 2009 - 5:09 am

Ioana - Ok. here it goes.
but before, I want ya to know that I am one of the followers in Romania. so, hi from here. :)
I am 18, but sometimes I feel waaay too old. but when I pop over your blog and read a post like “tongue tied” I come to my senses and say to myself “Ioana (my name), dudette, you do know you are 18, right? Just go have fun in your life, honey!” (see, this is the effect your blog has on me.
Moving on…
if I’m 18, theeeen, I’m in highschool. Actually I’ll be over with that in.. *gulp*…2 weeks. pretty scary and exciting and all the rest. I am amazed that in about 2 months I’ll be registered to go to college *huge gulp*. But hei, then I’ll come over your blog and read posts like “tongue tied”.
I plan to be a teacher and/or a translator.

And now, the more important things… hihi

I… loooove to sleep. it makes me happy, and I like to eat. I recently discovered that I could NOT live without chocolate. (told ya your blog has huge effects on me:D).
I like cotton-candy.
And icecream. vanilla. but chocolate too.
I don’t like coffee, not the smell of it. But I like the idea of coffee. And I like tea. Fruits taste.
I love the smell of fresh cut grass, it makes me think of country and happy childhood days.
I like to read, and eat chocolate while doing that (yes, surprise, huh?)
I looove pretty photographs, but I have no talent in that area whatsoever. So, I do what a normal person who like photography does. pops over your blog to see beautiful photographs. and dream that you will photograph my wedding when I’ll grow up and be a big girl.
I LOVE to make surprises and send letters (too bad we are sooo very into emails and live chat, and we no longer send real mail.) but I still send:) I also like emails, don’t get me wrong, I get all very excited when I see I have new ones.
I like to give gifts.
And look for the perfect card. 8->
I plan to buy lots of photo albums and make then all very special.
I wanna be a cool grandma when..obviously, I’ll have kids and grandkids.
I like color red. :) But I don’t exagerate wearing it. It’s just a thing that make my day.
I like to walk barefoot. It’s so…eco:D
I love water on a hot, hot day.
I want to be rich sometimes, but that’s not the goal, is the way to do eben more in my life. And if I don’t get rich, well, I’ll just know when I am old that I did great things with my life with little stuff.
I plan to travel. like..a lot.
I wanna slepp in the hay
I wanna sleep in a tent and
I wanna fall in love for the first time:) (aaa…soon?:D:D)
I like to put flowers between the pages of a book and check on them after weeks/months:) Flowers make me happy:) Even the dead ones:D
I plan on doing something great for someone during this life of mine. [ps, wanna know a secret? but don't tell anyone, OK? so, here itr goes... I want so bad to go to an orphanage and ask permision to take a child and give him/her the day of his/her life. cool, huh?]
I like to talk a lot (most of teh times; sometimes I don’t like to talk at all.) and apparently..I write as much as I talk:D

keep the great photos coming.

Lucky Red Hen - Your questions reminded me of my latest favorite YouTube video, “Can I Have Your Number?” I don’t remember how I found you, but it’s been only recently. I’m an aspiring photographer (still learning), wife and mother to two BEAUTIFUL children :) The smell just after it’s rained, clean laundry and lavendar make me happy (so does Alfredo Sauce). Some of my blog posts are funny… http://www.LuckyRedHen.net (I look forward to my stat counter telling me you’ve visited).
