HI.
My name is Abi and I’m a sucker for a good romance.
True love. Lasting love. Best friends who fall in love.
Soul-mates who find each other after years of searching, that perfect kinda love that only comes around once in a lifetime.
I am married to my once in a lifetime, also known affectionately as husband man.
We’ve been together 10 years now, and I love him 100 times more today then the day I married him.
{He’s my Edward.}
Also,
I am mom to a little man named Finley Asiimwe.
Asiimwe means "praise to God" in Luganda.
I have a bit of a sweet tooth and sometimes I like to understate some things.
Particularly things like my sweet tooth.
A few years ago I left a peice of my heart in Uganda ...and I would love to move there one day.
I have a love affair with dusk and the smell of fresh cut grass.
I love spending an afternoon browsing flea markets and pawn shops, but I love it even more when I come home with a treasure.
I adore chunky rings and love the smell of the rain on the wet cement.
Someday I want to spend an entire day wandering through a mossy forest
...and spend a month in Thailand with my boys.
Fog is magical.
I love shooting pretty places.
I love making pretty pictures.
If you love what you see on here as much as I love what I do then we should set up a time to
grab a drink and get to know each other because I'm pretty sure we're going to be the best of friends.

your number one fan - Okay, no clue why it says up there that my name is “your number one fan” but really, if that is in reference to that movie with Kathleen Bates and the writer guy…you’re in trouble!!
Anyway, back to your post…I am so thrilled that Africa “got under your skin” and yes, I wish I was there with you and I love that you love Sanu babies home and the babies there. We have got to find homes for them…we have got to!! I love you and I get to see you next week – Yippee Jesus!! xo
Ellie - Hi, Abi!
I follow your mom’s blog… Usually remember to check in with yours when she posts something about you :) Your blog is looking gorgeous! You take some beautiful photos! I had to contact you, though, because you mentioned Katie. I’ve recently been following her blog, and it seems she has an amazing life over in Uganda!!! What a story! I think it’s pretty neat that you got to meet her while you were there! I’m sure you had an amazing trip! Hope to hear more about it and see some of your pics!
